Students need to paint the potato and chop it on the art block.

Here are the outcomes.....shapes was chopped in variety of designs such as flower and faces....

Sand -Arts & Crafts

Primary 3, 4 and pre-schoolers did sand arts.Beach view scenery was given to the kids for colouring except the sand area.
Students need to sprinkle the glitters replacing the sand instead.They really enjoy it!

Addition facts for sum with 5

The ideas and example exercises in this lesson show how you can teach the addition facts where the sum is 5. Of course similar ideas can be used for other sums as well. The child should memorize the facts .

You can divide five elephants into groups of two and three:

|    5 = 2 + 3

Also, you can divide five elephants into groups of zero and five:

  |   5 = 0 + 5

What number is missing?  Don't write the answer down but just think it in your head.  Go over and over again these problems  until you know the missing numbers by heart.

1 + = 5  2 + = 5 0 + = 5

4 + = 5 3 + = 5 5 + = 5

+ 2 = 5 + 0 = 5 + 4 = 5

+ 3 = 5 + 1 = 5 + 5 = 5
